Dear Jenny,
Another lovely quilting job. thank you, you are so artistic with your machine so clever. Your service is so wonderful for "toppers"!

Please can I book in again for next year - it will make me finish a few other UFOs.

Thank you, love Sue   July 2005

The whimsical "Roosters In Boots", appliquéd by Sue,  is quilted with  various freeform meanders using cotton Mako' thread colours matched to the backgrounds of each block so that they create a subtle texture behind each rooster.

Hi Jenny
Just letting you know that I have received my quilts and they look fantastic.  Thanks so much for your hard work - Your efforts are truly appreciated.

Regards
Di Harkness

Di made two identical quilts and plans to complete a third in this design. I modelled the feather layout on her appliqué vine design. The background has been kept very simple by using a fine stipple meander which adds texture while allowing the beautiful appliqué to shine without distraction.

Hi Jenny

Just a quick note to let you know how thrilled I am with your wonderful work on my woodland creatures. Quite a few people have seen it now and are impressed with your work. We are still finding surprises each time we look at it......

Thanks again for enhancing my quilts and turning them into masterpieces.

Dear Jenny
Did I tell you the quilt with pink thread is beautiful? Thank you so much.

Jen - Love the quilting!!  Anne

This quilt was designed to feature the the brown floral fabric so I kept the quilting designs to traditional & simple - cross hatching over the floral panels with the circles surrounding the nine patch blocks creating a secondary design in the setting triangles.

"Turkish Delight" is quilted with a continuous "edge to edge" design called splash. I worked the design around the appliqué in the lower right hand corner.

photo shows only one small area of this large pictorial quilt.

The Australian appliqué quilt has had the background quilted with various landscape meanders. the appliqués have had textural details added as necessary to secure the large units and compliment the overall appearance of this pictorial quilt.

Dear Jenny,
Another lovely surprise of 3 quilts so beautifully quilted. Thank you! The design on the Turkish quilt is just great as is the autumn tones "male" quilt.

Just loved the work on my Australian design with fantastic work highlighting the square. Have enclosed a cheque for you with many thanks.

Look forward to next year's contact to send in the next quilt tops.
Regards Sue Stoeckel.

Dear Jenny,
Just a note to tell you how absolutely delighted I am with how you machine quilted my quilt. As I was machining the binding on, my eye wanted to follow the quilting around & I as I traced it with my finger, I realised so much more that it was your hand guiding the machine. You are just so clever. Two of my friends have booked with you on my recommendation. Thank you again.
Kind regards Nancy Winter

Hi Jenny

My quilt was here waiting for me when I arrived at Tewantin on Saturday. It looks great & I am very happy with the finished product.

Thank you so much for finishing it in time for Xmas. And I appreciate your completing the binding for me.

It feels so  good to finally have it completed. I just hope my daughter loves it as much as I'm hoping.

Once again my thanks for a great job and a very Merry Xmas to you & your family.

I used a random free flowing meander on this appliqué quilt incorporating the sashes and background in the one design. Enlarge the photo to the right to see the lattice effect that this creates.

Dear Jenny,

Yes the quilts have arrived safely. ..... I love what you have done! Your talent amazes me and I'm so thrilled with the effects you have achieved on both my quilts. It "makes" the quilts for me as a "lazy quilter"' enjoying the patchwork & creativity more! thank you again, I shall keep working on the 3 for next year.

" Dear Jenny, Thank you for the 3 quilts. WONDERFUL! They are just terrific you really enhance work done by anyone! My family helped unpack and were so impressed by them. I have enclosed my return cheque payment to you with many thanks and take this opportunity to please book in another 3 quilts for next year, 2003. I'll have to finish some things! I'll certainly have pride in showing off your work & mine! Thank you & best wishes."

"Dear Jenny, ....   I have now finished the binding on my log cabin quilt - it looks just great, so I am enjoying showing it to anyone interested in quilting! As you can see, I am now also on the internet, and I would like to book in three more quilts for you to machine quilt for me. Hoping to here from you as to when my next "turn" will be. "

"Dear Jenny, Thank you for booking in my quilts.  I'll get to work on the other one with enthusiasm now knowing I don't have to quilt it. Actually I don't mind quilting by machine but I feel I have more quilt tops to get out of me than the time to quilt them all.  I'm blowed if I know how hand quilters can stand the pace.  Don't get me wrong I love hand quilting and the look it gives as well, but there just isn't that many years left in me to treat all my quilts that way.  So at this point I will also thank you for doing what you do.  It's great.  ......"
