All threads, and other quilter's & embroiderer's notions, sold from this website are listed at the recommended retail price inclusive of GST.
As you browse, & shop on these pages, make your selection and simply click on the [Buy Now] buttons, and follow the instructions to shop online.
Always Quilting utilises a secure server to process orders placed via the Aurifil threads and More Online shopping pages. Payment may be made online by credit card at the time of ordering, or for Australian customers only, by direct deposit or posted by cheque or money order.
Please note the following conditions of sale :
You will receive an automatically generated email, sent via the shopping cart program to confirm that your order has been forwarded to us.This does not mean that we have accepted the order, or that payment has been deducted from your credit card.
We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a sales contract between us, when we have confirmed that the item is in stock, we have generated an invoice and in the case of credit card payments, authorised the processing of payment.
We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
We will endeavour to process orders within 2 business days of receipt, subject to stock availability and payment conditions.
Please ensure that you check your email in the days after placing an order as we may need to contact you about your order. If we are unable to contact you when we need to do so, your order will NOT be processed.
If you are posting your payment please wait until we send you a second email confirming that the items are in stock. An invoice will be attached to the email and the invoice Number or customer ID number ( provided on completion of your online order) should be included with payments made by direct deposit, money order or cheque. When we send you an invoice your order will be packed and held ready for posting upon receipt of payment.
You may still order off-line by printing an Order Form and faxing, or posting, it to Always Quilting
Orders may also be placed by email. Do not include credit card details in your email - instead include your telephone number so that you can be contacted to confirm payment arrangements.

All prices shown on this website are GST inclusive. Overseas clients are advised that GST does not apply to goods being exported. To calculate the price free of GST it is necessary to divide the cost by 11 and subtract that 11th from the total.

For Australian Customers Only:
Payment will be accepted by credit card, direct deposit to bank account, money order or cheque.
If you prefer to pay by a method other than Credit Card you will need to select the "Money Order " option when you fill in the purchaser information. Your order will be processed and held until payment has been received and cleared.
If you wish to make your payment by a direct deposit write a request for banking details in the comments box in the shopping basket.
Invoicing arrangements may be available for regular customers.
For International Customers:
All goods are quoted in Australian currency.
All transactions are calculated in Australian currency and will be converted into your local currency by your credit card provider.
You can estimate the cost in your local currency using the Universal Currency Converter website.
Payment will only be accepted by Visa, Or Mastercard.
A 2.76% Service Fee will be applied to International transactions to cover the International Banking Interchange Fee.
We do not offer a PayPal payment option as the secure card service, that is part of the online shopping cart used on the website, is very efficient.
Credit Card Payments:
Always Quilting utilises a secure server for purchases made via the Threads and More Online Store.
Where you see the [Buy Now] buttons you can be confident that your payment will be processed through a secure SSL server.
The security will only come into effect on the pages where you are asked to submit your credit card details and will be indicated by a locked padlock symbol appearing on the bottom of the page.
Ï Be sure to look for this symbol before entering any credit card details.
Note that you can cancel out of the transaction at any point up until the final confirmation that sends the order.
We guarantee that your credit card payment will only be processed when the goods are ready for shipping.

Post and packaging will be charged at Australia Post rates & are subject to change.
eg: Australia Post padded prepaid Satchels to anywhere in Australia:
500g Satchel will hold up to 12 standard spools of thread and is $6.35
3 kg Satchel will hold up to 48 spools of thread and is $10.65Small orders of up to 250g (6 spools) $5.25 Australia wide

Sometimes the postage calculator will over estimate the postage for multiple numbers of light items eg patterns which can be sent at the large letter rate rather than a parcel rate. If this happens we will adjust the postage and advise you of the change before processing your payment.
Registration & Insurance:
Effective September 2008, after having had several parcels lost in the mail, it is recommended that all orders over $50.00 be sent by registered mail (additional $2.75).
Orders valued over $100 should be sent by registered mail with additional insurance purchased at the rate of $1.25 per every $100 value, or part thereof, over the first $100 value.
Please Note:
If a parcel that has been sent by ordinary post becomes lost, or damaged in transit, Australia Post will only refund $50.00.Therefore, if you do not choose to have your parcel sent by registered post, with additional insurance where appropriate, Always Quilting will only be able to arrange a refund, or replacement, to the value of $50.00 for goods that are declared lost in transit by the Customer Service department of Australia Post.

International Post:
Postage& packaging is charged at Australia Post rates, plus insurance as requested.
The shopping system will automatically add the international postage, however in some instances this is only an indicator of approximate cost so we will send you a personal email to confirm the final cost before processing your order if the actual cost is greater than the estimate.
Your credit card is not automatically debited when you send an order. The shopping system collects, encrypts & sends your credit card details securely over the internet and we have to collect the details from a secure site and manually process them through our banking system in the same way as when our customers shop in person at the store.
For an international order I ALWAYS email the final cost, including the credit card service fee, and ask that the purchaser confirm that they wish to proceed BEFORE the credit card is processed. There have been times when I have thought the Australia Post postal rate was outrageous compared with the actual cost of the goods so I always want to give people a chance to re-think and cancel the order.
International orders will NOT be processed if the email address is invalid. Please ensure that your internet security allows email messages from Always Quilting and if you have not received an email from us within a couple of days check your spam filter / junk mail file to see if our message has been re-directed.
